These special bracelets are made with aluminum from recycled scrap metal of bombs dropped on Laos during the Secret War in Laos. Laos is the most bombed country of any war. Between 1964-1973, the US dropped more than 2 million tons of bomb on this small nation, the size of Texas. Because so much of the land is littered with this metal, non-governmental organizations work with local people to safely remove the unexploded ordinances.
Our unisex bracelets are uniquely wrapped with natural and dyed hemp threads by Maiya Vue from Xieng Khouang, Laos, one of the most bombed Provinces.
